After attending an introductory workshop on conscious eldering, I was highly motivated to go deeper within myself and really engage with the process of growing towards conscious elderhood. During my mentoring sessions with Ron, through his compassionate listening, attentive mirroring and skilled guidance, I was able to go deeper into different themes or aspects of my own process as it unfolded. This included reframing past experiences that I had always looked at in a negative light, helping me see them as a vital part of my life’s journey—as “wounds” that helped me recognize my sacred gifts to give to the world.
